Justin shared their exciting journey with us when he completed the upgrades to his home. Justin found out about our EnerGuide Home Energy Evaluation program through one of their friends who worked as a realtor that recommended our programs to help reduce the functioning costs of their home. What prompted Justin to seek out an energy audit in the first place was the enticing Greener Home Loans that approve up to 40 thousand dollars with an interest free 10-year repayment period if you get an evaluation through an approved energy advisor. Hearing this, our advisors were eager and ready to assist them as quickly as possible.
In the end, Justin added more insulation to the house, including a heat pump and solar panels. The insulation has made a noticeable difference in comfort in the house. The solar panels have helped reduce his energy needs from the grid, leading to incredible financial savings! Justin’s story can demonstrate just how beneficial these upgrades can be for homeowners in the long term, reducing your annual usage costs.
Justin still remembers the moment they received their energy refund cheque and described that moment as a great feeling of relief. For him, most of the home improvements were not financially possible to do on his own without support from the rebates and loans.
